Lauren Santucci is a documentary filmmaker and cinematographer whose work explores the connection between individual stories and contemporary social issues such as maternal health and gun violence.  Films she has worked on have been acquired by Frontline PBS and Al Jazeera and screened at festivals such as Sundance, SXSW, Telluride, and DOC NYC. Lauren has a background in visual journalism and is on contract at Education Week, where she produces videos about issues in K-12 education. Her short documentary, TEDDY, is currently on a festival run, where it has been recognized with a Special Jury Mention and Audience Award at the Atlanta Film Festival and has qualified for Oscar consideration following a theatrical run in New York City.
